Sort Your Life Out saw Stacey Solomon challenge the Paine family to declutter their home in just seven days. The family of four – consisting of mum Steph and her three daughters – had to let go of half their possessions while delving into memories from their past. The family experienced some emotional moments as they unearthed some of their most treasured possessions.
The items they decided to let go of were either recycled, donated or sold.
Author and social media star Stacey was joined by an incredible team who helped her transform and modernise the Paine’s home.
The team included carpenter Robert Bent, organiser Dilly Carter and cleaner Iwan Carrington.
During the show, Iwan shared some of his cleaning tips with viewers.
One cleaning tip in particular, saw Iwan tackle a common problem with a simple solution.
Stacey said: “Iwan’s got a bizarre but timesaving way to make things sparkle.”
Iwan can be seen holding a crusty shower head in the family bathroom that needed descaling.
But instead of using harsh chemicals, Iwan suggested using cola.
He said: “Pop this [the shower head] into a plastic bag.
“Add a little splash of the cola until it is completely submerged.

“The cola is acidic so that is going to get to work on all of that limescale.
“All you need to do is leave that for a few hours to work its magic.”
Iwan revisits the shower head later on after leaving it for a few hours.
“Let’s see how the cola has worked on the shower head.
“It’s the moment of truth!”
He gave the shower head a quick rinse and lightly scrubbed it with a dish brush.
The shower head looked brand new and completely white.
“All of the cola has removed the limescale,” he added.
Cleaning pro Iwan also shared a hack for deterring moths from leaving holes in our clothes.
