THE NEW PlayStation virtual reality headset isn't even out yet but is already blowing fans away.
Some of the first gamers to try out the PSVR2 have shared their thoughts following its appearance at a conference this week.
The device, which allows players to enter immersive, virtual worlds, was playable for the first time at a Sony showcase at GDC in San Francisco.
Attendees heaped praise on the device on social media, with one tester calling it "soooo good".
The plaudits were led by Chet Faliszek, a former Valve worker who is now CEO of U.S. game studio StrayBombay.
He tweeted on Thursday: "Had one of those VR moments today playing in the new PSVR2 hmd.
"You know where the world just feels different when you return? Sooooo good."
Others claimed to have tried the gear out for themselves in responses to his comments on forum site ResetEra.

One fan claimed that Faliszek's words were not "hyperbolic".
It's unclear whether the headset is available to play as part of a public demo at GDC or to specially selected people behind closed doors.

Starting at £260, players can bolster their set-up by paying for extra gear in the form of special VR controllers, which ship for £70 for a pair.
