I found a HUGE change to WhatsApp 'reactions' – just days after emoji trick launched

WHATSAPP is working on a big change to its message reactions feature.

The new trick was added earlier this month – but it's about to get an update.

WhatsApp is constantly changing features to make the app work better.

These tweaks are usually tested inside the WhatsApp beta – a trial version of the app used by fans and developers.

Gadget blog WABetaInfo digs into the WhatsApp beta to uncover the latest changes.

And the sleuths have uncovered a new tweak to message emoji reactions that changes how they work for photo albums.

The new feature means you'll be able to see detailed reaction info for automatic WhatsApp albums.

"At the moment, when someone reacts to a photo or video in an automatic album, it is not possible to view which media has been reacted to without opening the album," WABetaInfo explained.

"The next feature will let people exactly do it!"

WhatsApp will let you see detailed reaction info with a media thumbnail.

The feature is currently "under development", so it's impossible to say exactly when it'll arrive.

But as it's a minor change, it could be a matter of weeks away.

If you want try new WhatsApp features before your pals, follow our guide on how to join the beta below.
