White vinegar and baking soda used for cleaning oven glass
Cleaning the oven is a laborious task that often involves using harsh chemicals and hours of scrubbing. Ovens need to be cleaned every three months at least or when the glass of the oven is particularly dirty.
Dirty ovens will cause food to have an unpleasant taste and can even cause smoke to appear while cooking.
With this in mind, fans of cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch, whose full name is Sophie Hinchliffe, have shared their methods for cleaning oven glass.
Mrs Hinch is a cleaning and lifestyle influencer who has more than 4.6 million followers on Instagram and often shares her garden and home tips online.
Fans of hers have taken to social media in recent years to share their own hacks for solving common household problems.
On one such group, Facebook user Aine Phelan Ryan asked: “Please help. Need tip to get oven glass clean?”
The post was inundated with responses but the most common suggestion was to use a dishwasher tablet.
Maureen Johnstone said: “A warm oven and a dishwasher tablet in some warm water.
“Leave for about 10 minutes, did mine on Sunday and it works a treat.”

Lynda Morgan replied: “Dishwasher tablet dipped in water. Rub it all over the glass and then rinse it off with a damp cloth.”
Linda Hughes suggested: “Dishwasher Tablets wearing rubber gloves.”
Angela Honeywell wrote: “Yes dishwasher tablets work wonders.”
Most households with a dishwasher will own dishwasher tablets. However, those who don’t have dishwasher tablets can buy them from their local supermarket.

“Wash with clean water then use a small paint scraper/razor blade type to scrape off any remains!”
Emma-Louise Appleyard commented: “I saw a hack using washing-up liquid, bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar.
“Made it into a paste and spread it all over the glass and let it sit for an hour.
